General Motors Investor Relations Website
General Motors was recently recognized at the Web Marketing Association's interactive Investor Relations Awards with an award for "Best Automotive Investor Relations Site." The annual competition is judged by individual and institutional investors, financial advisors, the financial press and investor relations professionals.
In 2005, GM was awarded "Best Automotive Investor Relations Site" in the prestigious iIR awards. For two years in a row (2002–2003), General Motors was also cited for best communications with retail stockholders, winning top honors in the category among large-cap companies at the eighth annual Investor Relations Magazine U.S. Awards in association with Barron's in New York. GM also received an honorable mention for best overall investor relations among large-cap companies. This award competition is internationally recognized as a valid measure of excellence in investor relations. Winners were determined through interviews with over 2,700 portfolio managers and buy- and sell-side analysts and over 1,000 retail investors. |
