To enhance the HSE section of its Web site, Sunoco wanted its CERES Annual Report designed in an online format. The challenge was to design a user-friendly navigational system that logically presented detailed information while limiting the amount of page scrolling. The design also had to reflect the Sunoco brand and leverage environmentally friendly colors to reinforce the company's commitment to HES and HES reporting.

"The look and feel of the Web site tells people as much about Sunoco as the text and data. The navigation of the site is very easy and facilitates knowing where one is at all times. We were also very pleased with the presentation of the charts, graphs, and tables, which I'm sure you noticed is a major portion of our story. The page layout made it possible to for a large amount of information to be displayed/available while minimizing the amount of space needed. The layout also enabled us to convey our message both textually and visually, which further enhances the reader's reception of our message."
