Paula Savage Invited to Judge National Design Competition

April 21, 2010, Houston, Texas - Savage is excited to announce that Paula Savage Hansen, Savage founder and CEO, was invited to participate as a judge for the National AIGA 365 Design Competition.

The AIGA 365 competition is a distinguished show that selects the best work across all disciplines of communication design and strategy, as chosen by a distinguished jury of design peers. After careful review of more than 3,800 entries, the jury selected a group of 182 examples of outstanding design produced in 2008. The selections become part of the AIGA Design Archives  and a traveling exhibition that begins at the AIGA National Design Center  in New York.

Having served on the boards of several professional organizations and as a past AIGA Texas board member and president, Hansen has been instrumental in establishing a strong reputation for design excellence and mentoring the next generation of design leadership. Paula became an AIGA Fellow in 2008. AIGA Fellows is an award program that recognizes mature designers who have made a significant contribution to raising the standards of quality in practice and conduct within their local or regional design community as well as in their local AIGA chapter. The areas of education, writing, leadership and reputation, as well as the practice of design are given equal consideration in measuring significant contribution.
