We bet April Lundy and Anthony Bourdain would’ve been best friends if they’d met on a tour of Houston’s culinary scene. She probably would’ve known the best restaurants to take him to; and when they were there, they’d be leaning over the table drinking whiskey, listening to good music and sharing their love of cooking and kitchens. Chefs seem like April’s people — punk-rockers, yet real softies at the same time.

Similar to culinary heroes in their kitchens, April is a commanding presence in any room. She’s assertive, clear and able to masterfully handle requests and expedite solutions as they come her way. All the while, smiling and having a great time learning and creating. Maybe we should start replying, “Yes, Chef,” after her prompts to install our updates!

As our Manager of Technology & Business Services, April determines our system needs, troubleshoots, keeps us up-to-date and maintains our network security. And as Savage’s biggest cheerleader, she is the force behind our social media channels, communicating our point-of-view with our unique brand voice. April has honed her skills in a variety of industries, from real estate to hospitality to technology. She’s also a serial volunteer with the Houston chapter of the American Marketing Association and has co-chaired its annual Marketing Edge conference.
