Around the world, people of high moral character often commit to doing things “by the book.” Little do they know that Dahlia Salazar wrote that book, in one afternoon, in the fifth grade. What originally came to her as she rode the bus to school one morning, she now puts into practice each day at Savage. The organized, business-minded, methodical way she conducts herself is the envy of people with OCD everywhere. And by balancing that with a stronger creative foundation that shines even brighter, she never wavers in the winds of conflict or conceptual problem solving, always focused on the task at hand.
Dahlia has been with Savage for over 30 years, and as Creative Director, she actively participates in the creative process from conceptual brand story development to implementation. Drawing on her vast creative experience, she illuminates and inspires her team to create work that connects on a visceral level, engages and has the power to influence. She ensures that your brand story and image is managed seamlessly and ultimately resonates with, and inspires, its intended audience.
Dahlia has had the good fortune of working with clients like Chevron Phillips Chemical, EDF, TEAM, Inc., the University of St. Thomas, Baylor College of Medicine, FlexSteel and SEACOR Marine, and has received numerous awards from the profession’s most respected competitions and publications.
As a Principal and Vice President, Dahlia also maintains a significant role in the management, strategic direction and operations of the company.
