You know how when you pull a thread, you can sometimes get more than you bargained for – and you’re left with a pile of thread and a sweater that now fits a Ken doll?
You know how when you pull a thread, you can sometimes get more than you bargained for – and you’re left with a pile of thread and a sweater that now fits a Ken doll? Well, in Gerald DeLeon’s case, he was attending Texas A&M, happily majoring in Business Management, studying hard, and dreaming of a maroon-hued future. One day when he was in the computer lab developing his own personal website for fun, he realized people kept asking him how to get their web pages to look like his. Less annoyed by all of the questions and more introspective, his inner Aggie had an epiphany. He could master this thing that came so naturally to him, this could be his profession instead. So – queue record scratch – he pulled the proverbial thread.
Ultimately, that thread has led him down a digital path where he has been able to weave together his strong intuitive and analytical abilities, along with his creative and business insight in the creation of websites, email marketing campaigns, and user experience design for clients across many industries, including Champion Fiberglass, SOFEC and SEACOR Marine, to name just a few. His easy-going personality allows him to take the time to fully understand clients’ needs, excel at collaboration and provide the appropriate solutions that balance both form and function.
Outside of work Gerald, can usually be found at his son’s sporting events or drowning in his daughters’ numerous dance competitions – but he’d have it no other way – as he is most at peace spending time with and supporting his family. Above all, he aspires to leave a lasting impact – no matter how big or small – on the lives he touches.
