Kudos to Companies Leading with Purpose: Tomball Ford
I picked up a print edition of the Houston Chronicle today, and it was so refreshing to read about a local car dealership who is interested in the customer experience and their community. Many companies give these words lip service, but Tomball Ford is shouting it out and backing it up with their actions.
From hosting a dinner for the Wounded Warrior Project, to throwing a party for the 2013 Fusion, to supporting the VETSports Houston Softball Classic, this dealership knows that reaching out to the community and honoring our veterans is a reflection on who they are as a company - the kind I want to do business with.
They also hold customer care clinics one evening a month, where technicians and staff share information from what’s under the hood to understanding how to use Bluetooth hands-free calling. They have had as many as 110 people attend one session.
So little surprise that this dealership has been named on of Ford’s top 20 volume dealers in the country for two months in a row.
Tomball Ford seems to understand what makes a brand successful - focusing on a greater purpose than just profits. They have joined the elite group of companies who show how purpose drives performance and performance drives profits… in that order.
